I don't think it's possible in IPB...I know it supports flash in posts and flash in avatars (there's a setting to block them that I have disabled, since I trust this community enough to allow it).

Upon further research, I've discovered that the flash bbcode can be used in signatures.... the format of the code is straightforward:
CODE
[flash=
(replacing BTW, the set limit on dimensions is 1000x500 (only set to make it hard for a user to hijack the page with a large flash animation) |

Can we not have flash siggys? They give serizers, they take forever to load, they slow down the scroll rate... and most of all, they're usually annoying!

I suspect this may be a bug in the software...it has no problems with accepting flash avatars if you upload it somewhere and give it the url, interestingly.
