So, since this place seems to have cooled down a tad too much, here's a good controversial discussion topic: which has more power today, the pen or the keyboard
Tracidini

What if we say neither? Because neither has more power necessarily. Certain people rely on certain items. For instance, I write better with the pen, yet I type faster with the keyboard. However, the pen lets me organize my thoughts which was why I was checking out that tablet pc *awes* ahh yes, that thing was awesome.
Perhaps the reason the boards have cooled down so much is because the topics are rather boring and the owners are overpowering.

I'm gunna go with keyboard because you basically need to have keyboarding skills in today's world to get a job.

The pen allows the mind to work more than the keyboard, because computer radiation stimulates the nervous system. I prefer to write poetry, etc. with the pen, but essays, stories, etc. with the keyboard.

OK I want to be a garbage person or mail carrier. I do not need the keyboard. I repeat - do NOT need the keyboard.
Oh yes, shifty you put the wrong emPHAsis on the wRong words on your rules page for the IRC chatness plus you never corrected your spelling error
Perhaps we would rather listen to knowledgeable sources that know their spelling and grammar.

Spelling things the right way the frist time makes people listen to you. cool people have good spelling and grammar.
First is spelled wrong Nirvana, and cool is not capitalized.

A keybord is good for fast words and beating peoples heads in, while pens are good for inking and stabbing people to death.

I believe that people rely more on the keyboard but that you when you write something, the example of a letter to someone else, it is much more effetcive and gives across the feelind easier.

Exactly, besides I still find it hard to get the whole message when I email. It's my least favorite way to talk to somone. Then comes mailing, then calling, and my absolute favorite is talking to someone directly.

Emails are good if you have to tell people bad news and you know they might explode if you tell them in person
D3green
Apr 19 2004, 06:06 PM
Yeah but sometimes it's better to tell them in person so that when they do explode you can calm them. Don't want anyone to kill themself now do you?

Well, FreedomsNet is currently mostly an American enterprise, though I know for a fact that we do have some international membership (I would certainly like to have more membership both from abroad and in general, though...the more voices and opinions FreedomsNet gets the stronger it is)

Shift eh? I wonder who they mean...
anyways, I'm always watching (either in person or in the board logs), and as of now I don't have any basis to demote Blitzkreig (sorry D3, but facts are facts). So unless you've got some evidence you haven't seen to present against him (which would optimally be done via PM, not on a board thread)...
