posers give a bad name to society- the people who pretend they are something they are not. this stupid society has had a recent outbreak of posers in the last two or three years. what is wrong with you people??!! you are not punk just because you buy overpriced band shirts at hot topic which by the way is owned by the Gap. you are not punk if you listen to bands with corporate sponsers ie good charolette, linkin park, p.o.d, rancid, etc. it just really pisses me off to see people like those poseurs as we say in paris takeing over main stream society and brainwashing youth into thinking thats what it is all about.

Um, have you considered that maybe people listen to a band and wear their T-shirts because they just like the music? Not everyone who wears a shirt for a band is trying to "pose" as a certain type of person. I mean, honestly, if I showed up at school one day in a Linkin Park shirt - yes, I do listen to them; I happen to find their music very soothing - that wouldn't mean I was trying to be "punk".
