I voted robots, cause I do believe they will end the human race. If God made man in his image, then man will strive to make God, probably through robots. One stupid hick with money and lots idiocy can program a small army of bots to kill all humans, or even worse, to kill humans AND make new versions of itself.

Hey!!! I just read Popular Science, and they invented one that is like 5 ft long and weights 20 pounds. Digital camera (duel telescopic rangefinder complete with laser and heatseeking) and mini gun included (side rockets optional)

THAT IS SO NOT TRUE!!!! What if you are a human who deals with weapons that can end the world. Or an alien whose hobby is to go around blowing up planets and ending world. Ya, I read about that. By then I hope to make my mark on humanity. I know that in 132 years from now an asteroid will hit Earth (proven for like 90 years). It can be stopped now, but it cant be stopped within 20 years of the actual impact. That is why I strongly hope for human colonization to happen within 10 years (super unrealistic).
why would we not have seen the 2012 meteor by now? you think somewhere theres a scientist looking into a telescope now going "holy $#*%!!!!!"

Oooo, S. King. He da man. No, meteors are hard to spot cause the sky is black, the rocks are black, the distance between stars is too great, and astronomers are under funded. Did you know that in 1998 we were almost hit by an "Armageddon" size rock (the movie was based on it)? It was only 400k miles away (the moon is a few million miles away). We didnt see it until after it passed (sorry, filter), so if its tradgectory was altered from wherever it started (by only a few feet or something), it would have hit us and we would have never known what the hell happened. That is why I hope humans can get out of the cradle of Earth and onto Mars or something. The end is closer than you think.
