Ok, this sound corny, so I will quote my one of my past posts:
QUOTE |
Ok, Ill put it in perspective. CBS (most watched TV network), MTV, UPN, VH1, CBS Sports, MTV 2, Paramount, Showtime, and Blockbuster, and more are all owned by one company, Viacom. AOL Time Warner owns AOL, Time Warner, Warner Brothers (WB), New Line Cinema, TBS, and HBO, and more (Universal Studios, I think). Disney owns ABC and ABC Family, and a few others. My point is, that if one of the parent companies mentioned above decided to put it opinion in its newscasts, commercials, subliminal messaging, or whatever, many people could and will be affected by it. |
Anyway, could they really control our minds??? I think so. I've seen insane subliminal messaging on CBS and ABC, and a few others too. I think they can, and in the future will, put themselves in power or people with their interests in power, and they will do this by brainwashing us through the TV.

There's a fine line between being able to suggest a course of action subliminaly to someone (with them making a slightly influenced decision, but a conscious one) vs. full mind control (with those being affected having made no conscious decision). Think of it that way

whatever, ignore my little strange story thing...
go do research, find out what percentage of the media is run by one giant corperation... i challenge you... [betcha you won't] so, whatever...
a handful of money-grabbers control US TV... that pretty much constitutes mind control...

even if all that was true...like half of the population don't watch the news....some people only watch 3 channels: cartoon network, nickelodeon, and comedy central....
i mean i wouldn't be surprised if one of the companies owned them too, i mean i think AOL Time Warner owns Cartoon Network, so they could do something...but still
they might even be doing that to video games sooner or later, then we're all screwed....
but for now i don't think we have anything to worry about

Did you know that over 75% of Americans read (and many believe) Tabloids? I mean, like 50% of those people read it religiously. That is sad. The media is brainwashing us...........

Lol, nice story. Now back on topic:
Have you ever seen a commerical for like 5 years (you dont have to like it, you might even hate it), and then one day you realize that you use the product religiously and that you could probably buy a cheaper brand (just as good) for less. And when you try, you find it addicting and you cant stop?
