FEAR....what is it.. Where does it come from. Should decisions be made on fear? Should emergency situatuations be heated even more by fear.????

Fear is the primordial instinct that basically "woke us up". Fear makes people think, fear is one of the only reasons humans are the way they are today. Think of it this way. People fear cancer, lightning, sharks, snakes, and murderers. People are millions of times more likely to die crossing the street, but they do it so many times that they know they wont die. Fear is the instinct that will either lead to the salvation or doom of the human race; there is no middle ground.

Useless???? Quite the opposite. Fear affects all most people, and the world is shaped by fear. Fear of terrorism??? The odds are less than you winning the lottery (300 million/400 million in one)

Actually, it is probably one of the most helpful emotions that we humans have. Fear always gets the short end of the stick, though. Thanx Hollywood.

ah yes, fear. Very complicated thing. Fear is the signal that our body gives us when it tries to say, stay away you idiot! No I don't believe that anyone should make serious decisions during moments of great fear because it messes up you thought and you can't think clearly. However sometimes you have to make them and then you have to stay calm and don't reach critical m[censored].

yeah...one annoying glitch in IPB (not sure if this was what caused it) is that, if someone subscribes to get email notifications to a topic and for whatever reason the email spider can't find their email every time someone posts on that topic they'll see an error like "failed at "mail" command", and the page won't forward to show their post. This glitch has been known to cause 5 or more consecutive posts in a topic from people who presume that the post didn't go through because of the error

The only administrative solution to the bug is to unsubscribe everyone from a topic, which I have done here and in other places where the error appeared

Hey at least that's better than people double posting and not even realizing that their doing it purposely. I've seen that before, but that's a huge forum and it's easy to get several chronic double posters.

Yea, don't push refresh when you get that message, you'll double post.

Not always but half the time you will. If you just go back to the page and then refresh it your post wil be there anyway.

Back to Fear... What happens when you do fear something?
Personally, I get stomach aches and sometimes feel freezing cold and start to shiver. Other times I just have nightmares and other times i try to investigate...

Well I personally break down and can hardly move, but that's just me, I am weak when it comes to fear.

When i get scared it turns to anger and anger turns to rge and rage turns into an uncontrollably thirst for blood... but thats just me!
