codenames are like high school nicknames. everyone has one at one point, but only a few stick. lets do a list of people we know's nicknames:

maine
fez
soundtrack
mooner
arj
lunchbox
quadraclops
logan
mimic
bamf
d.w.
mad dog

how many of that short list stuck? 3 out of 12. only one out of 4 nicknames stick in real life. you want to make the comic's weapons look realistic, fine, making things look real is your job. making charecters that seem as real as real people is my job. and therefore this falls under my juresdiction.

I would have to disgree in one sense blue. The board members overule anything and the President overpowers the writer in his jurisdiction. Your power though is over anyone else who's job it isn't to write the storyline, but as a whole the board overules any of your decisions. Sorry to burst your bubble.

i don't think the name should pertain so closely to the animal-ness.... it just sounds kinda cheesy.

not that it matters, i haven't noticed any work done on it in a month...
and i think the genetic thing are a bit extreme... and they all look similar...

this comic is soooo cliche'd that it needs to distance itself. if you wanna read a super team book that has codenames and is about genetic freaks saving the world from nazi/socialist villains, READ AN X-MEN BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIER WRITERS AND PENCIERS ARE MORE TALENTED!!!!!!!

we need to have everything be in charecter. John Fallon is the type of person who is happy with his own name. he wants to keep as many ties to his old life as posible, he is nostalgic and misses the way things used to be. he will call others by niknames sarcasticly. other team members are likely to miss thier old lives as well, and also would want to keep ties. blitz likes his new apperance and likes his life as an outlaw hero, so he wants a new name. period. why even have code names. they're not a disguise. siggy knows who they are. the whole thing is a concept we had at the begining that didnt work out.

but what about the "nameless" people like cyan or others whos names i might not wish to state on danger of being a hypocrite

1) This response may be completely unnecessary, seeing as the post in question may be outdated.

3) I vote Talon, just 'cuz... I don't know, abstract thinking again, but White Wing sounded cool, too. Johnny Falcon just sounded too... "Johnny Quest" or "Danny Phantom" - esque.

And I know I was going to say something else, but I forgot... as usual...
