Yep. Looks good. Planning to release the skin? IF you do, change the banner cause people arent gonna like it (my suggestion tho).

release it? I would, but there's a rather annoying bug with the headers that I can't do a thing to remedy: because the code to render the submenus is in the board wrappers and before IPB's variable parser kicks in, the links have to be hardcoded (in other words, to use it, the board's admin would have to manually edit the board wrapper to change the links to match those on his/her board). Also, IPB's parser trys to reinsert the default header on this skin when its backed up, so I'd actually have to hack the archive and fix that after backing it up to prevent the ghost header from appearing on somebody else's board. Overall, there's just too much work involved in making this skin usable for it to be attractive to others.

Well .....theres a code you insert so instead of the person who wants to edit it, they dont need to cause u know how you have
https://freedomsnet.net/forums/index.php?act=members and all that. U dont have to put
https://freedomsnet.net/forums ....I forgot what the text was but it was something like {ipb_forum_url}or something like that ....If thats what ur talking about. If not, ignore this.

that was...the parser for those variables gets loaded too late in the code to effect the menu
and the variable is "{ipb.vars[script_url]}", BTW

I don't really like the new look. I was usted to the old look but it IS better in a way. You can get to the forums faster. But it's confusing to me. Oh well. I'll just have to get usted to it. It really looks nice though

Inefficient?! It puts the most used keys closest to where your fingers should be...

a large percentage of the keys that you need are on the Left side of the keyboard, and a most of the keys you type aren't on the central "home row"...
It's not fair that QWERTY got a head start... there is a keyboard configuration that was proven better... but ppl were too used to this one...

The idea, really, though, is that the keys you'll (theoreticly) need most often are closer to the center. In practice, it's a mixed blessing, admitedly. However, standards, by their very nature, take a long time to change, and I highly doubt another keyboard layout will win widespread approval in the near future...

Yes. I think that the new layout is 1st class. It's what got me to start posting! I hadn't posted until I saw the spiffy skins! Now I have 85 in a week! Yay!

I really hate to say this, but:
1. we don't care about your post count. What matters is the quality of the content contained therein
2. Posting purely for post count often annoys people, particularly if it's, to use the words of one relitively famous man, machine gunning with trivial fare. No offense to you, but I'd prefer to see a little more in the way of meaningful posts.
3. Most of the topics you've posted on have been dead for months, sometimes for very good months ago in favor of my 2.1 design).
Glad to know you like 2.1, though.
