hmm, a few things to say:

totally remove islam eh...careful with the religious stuff, it can be offensive to certain people. its also dangerous to globalize...most muslims aren't the sort of radicals that are in the various islamic terrorist orginizations.
In fact, the argument could be made that the same sort of globalizations are the reason that the USA and other nations have problems with islamic terrorists in the first place. We've had this argument in Making of the Modern World... the argument of Jihad. As we've said in class Jihad is struggle, not war or something like that... A struggle can be a war and some Muslims look at it that way... I'm not going to say the Muslims are bad because some of them are good and others are bad and we shouldn't classify all Muslims under the category of violent.

cultural anthropologists? wow.........well now that i think about it i suppose that would definitely help..........it would make it much simpler if we just forced everybody to follow the same ethnicity, the same politics, the same religions, the same everything...and just torture and kill all who defy it....but i suppose that's going a little too far......or is it? *evil smirk*....no but seriously, has bush ever even considered peace talks? i mean i don't follow news whatsoever, even tho i'm in a journalism class, so i dunno what goes on at all...but that would make the most sense to me....well now come to think of it, settling agreements has never really helped us before.....let's just nuke 'em like we did japan! that sure as heck stopped japan from attacking us

Ya, well, nukes have gone out of style. Race (a false concept, pointed out to me by Krayvis) is a messy business. The problem is that some people have:
A. Prejudces
B. Are the Mutts, as to say they are "everything" (I am, more of less)
C. The Media make you braindead
D. Most peoples "BS (instead of saying bad word) Dectector" is so un-keen because we are bombarded by false junk from commercials, internet, tv, whatever
The "nuking" of Japan was more of less nessicary, we couldnt bomb them with trash-cans (compared to modern bombs) willed with napalm or gunpowder. It peacefully ended a long war (from USA point of view) and actually did a lot of good. I mean, instead of repairing Europe in 30 years, we could fix Japan fast because their main cities were just holes in the ground and/or bombed out too-broken-to-fix buildings. That, coupled with a some earthquakes, made Japan so US friendly and rich, that we have loads of military bases there and, in the Korean War, we sent soldiers to Japan on holidays! From bombed out city to state-of-the-art country in 6 years! Japan is now one of the leading countries in every field, from science to military, to the economical standpoints in our current world. "Nuking" is not something to be taken lightly.

Ok...this is an interesting question: was it fair for the US to drop the first two atomic bombs on Japan? Its one that many historians have battled over for decades, and it brings up a good point: is one life worth more than another, and if so, then how can you make decisions that will cost some lives on the premace of saving other's? And its a question that calls practicly every scruple in any person into question...probably one of the most contraversial questions out there.

it's not that we're more important humans than they are...but if we didn't kill them first, then we would've killed them later, but in the mean time they would've killed us a little...therefore MORE lives would've been lost.....this was the quickly and most life-conserving way to do it...and i don't care if it's out of style WE NEED TO FRIGGIN BOMB THEM!!! i mean what's the harm in nuking the desert areas where they might be hiding in caves? the only people we would hurt are the guys we want to kill anyway.......

Atomic bombs would also make the world's volcanoes very unstable...

Lol, good rant. Petrol sucks. Period. We need fuel cells or all electric or whatever. That why government sucks, it can be bought by big oil, labor unions, and pharisutical (bad spelling) companies. Nuking is fun, but it should not be misused.
personally I wouldn't mind seeing nuclear weapons wiped off the face of the earth, but then we'd have to deal with the prospect of someone making another and having nothing to counter it with...its an interesting challenge to balance the need to keep the world in check with the need to keep it, as a whole, secure

Why is why Japan rules (lol, back to Japan). They can do whatever they want with this and it too late to stop them. I mean, loads of people want to buy fuel cell cars now, and the oil execs. are scrambling for cover. Within 10 years, I believe that most people will have fuel cell cars.

I object. This topic has merit. We are storming the Middle East. Iran would be next. It just as bad, and both easier and harder to topple. Most residents are pro-American (good thing), but they have good-ish government and most definatly WMD (bad thing). This is a legitamate topic.
Ah i should have listed that if a legitemate reson was given than i would compleatly ignore it thank you for clairifacation nex time take into account that not every one is an telepath.
