Just remember Nightshift, that Nintendo has owned something like 90% of the handheld market, and Gameboys are the highest selling system ever. At least, in the past. Plus, with a Pokemon DS game coming out, it might sway a lot of people that are undecided.
Sony will probably use the same tactic as it used for PS2, which will be hyping it up to be something its not. Sadly, this normally means that when the real specs are revealed, some people will be dissapointed...
Nintendo, however, will be honest from the start with Revolution...but buyers who already sold their souls to the false PS3 rumors, will shy away from it.

Nintendo is as good as dead, really. Their marketshare of games and systems today is tiny compared to either that of MS or Sony

I think everyone recognizes that Nintendo's share in the console race is pretty much over. They will still hold only the handheld market, even though the PSP is better than the DS, purely for the reason that more people are used to the idea of a "gameboy".
As for PS3 and X-Box 360, based off of their E3 conferences, they seem to on completely different ends of the spectrum. Microsoft is going for a focus on the community with no actual discussion of hardware specs and technical features. They talked about this great X-Box live system, with "Gamer Cards" to show how awesome you are, and a system for downloading game and movie previews right to your 360. They are basically trying to make it a home entertainment center instead of a gaming console.
Sony, on the other hand, geared it's conference solely towards the technological achievements of the PS3. They showed the absolutely stunning real-time light rendering system that made the demos looks fantastic. They talked about the specific architecture of the cell processor, the different developments of new video RAM techniques, and overall tried to appeal to the nerdier audience.
I guess that's why I liked Sony's presentation much better.
Now I own an X-Box, but I have to admit that I think that Sony is going to blow 360 out of the water. With better technical stats, and a more gaming driven approach, I think it's going to be a no contest.

Thanks to Texdragon for handling some coding while I've been sick, and to Matt Mechan for nothing.
