Well, my topics are perfect so there is no need to judge them.

i think that abortion is wrong. how can you say that its the person' choice? i mean yes, technically it is, but that is taking someone's life away. does it make a difference if a person is alive or is just a small embryo or watever. i don't think that its rite to have an abortion.

Finally, some one else has the same idea as me. I know there may be others who said it was wrong, but shortkid you hit it on the dot.

If you do not want the child, have it and put it up for adoption. There are MANY loving and caring couples out there who would do almost anything for a child. And may the family will even let you check up on the baby you gave up, so you can see his/her birthday's and watch him/her grow up.

yes, and when a woman is pregnant they SHOULD NOT be so selfish as to call it their body anymore. why? because it isn't there body anymore. they are now sharing it with another human being. a human being who has done NOTHING wrong, yet if it doesn't suit the mother they are going to get killed? that's terrible!!! and like melgoa said, whats so hard about having the baby and giving it up for adoption. thats all the mother has to do! abortion is just wrong.

Leave it up to the parents! They're the ones who will have to live with them... Maybe they could decide to put the child up for adoption.. that be the best option.

i believe that killing in general is bad and unjustified. so killing of an unborn person is just out right!!! cuse how do u know they are not going to save the world or save your life but they can't cuse u killed them so there is a lot to think about but insted of abortion put them up for adoption i was adopited and glad to be here........... becuse i may have been aborted cuse of unknow resons i am not quit clear on..... yeah there i go thats my insite on the matter.

I think abortion should only be illegal in the third trimester of pregnancy. That's the only time a baby as any sense of feeling anyway.

The world is overpopulated as it is. We dont need anymore kids. Anyone who says "Don't abort, give them up for adoption." needs to take a good look around. Do you realize how many kids are in group homes who need homes? Far too many. Most of them never get permanent homes and spend thier childhood being moved from foster home to foster home and grow up into dysfunctional human beings. Studies show that people who never had a stable childhood are far times more likely to commit suicide in thier teens or adulthood.

So what's better. Wishing you were never born and killing youself, or being never born?

i would like to preseve life in general. but yet ride this earth of the plage that as destorying it.(human kind) people have to realize its not just them are the materal postions that they need to protect! its the stuff people do! war, cuting of trees, building and building, destroying, makeing profits that deplet the world to a bitter end! not that we can avoid all of this but its the lock way of thinking. humens can't think out of the box it has to be one way or its screw it like music for one thing do the notes have to be made that way or anuther way but yet make a new way to write it down to compse no cuse it has to be that way.

i'm never gonna say abortion is rite. how can you say this planet is too overpopulatd? i dont think abortions are rite. besides thats y they have condoms, if you dont want a baby go ahead and use that, so theres no excuse. and yes, i know, there are ppl who get raped, and for that i know it is very difficult for me to say its fair, but i dont think its rite for a harmless baby to be killed.

HAH Tracinidi. I can judge people, because I have that montly cycle and I know about it first hand. And condoms don't always work, they can break and ect. Taking pills, or wearing the patch may not stop you from getting pregant either. Sure the planet is overpopulated, but what did you think would happen when we inveted so many things that give people more time. There are also sprem banks where people can go to get pregant as well. So if I were the people at these banks, I would just leave and adopt.

Technically, it's not a baby. It's a fetus. It can't even feel anything until it's in the third trimester, when usually its dangerous to the mother and not legal to have an abortion.

And yes, the world is overpopulated. The world is not made to support over 6 billion people and that's why people all over the world are starving. The biggest problem facing the people in 50 years will be fresh water. That's why now, I think everyone should adopt because group homes are overcrowded with unwanted childrens. Plus there are orpahns in other countries wasting away in orphanages.

I'm just saying outlawing it will only make the problem worse.

People just need to stop having sex, end of story. I mean not completely, but absitnence until you're in a commited relationship is more important than people realize. Plus statistics show for condoms; out of 100 women whose partners use condoms, about 15 will become pregnant during the first year of typical use. So it's not fool-proof, even when combined with other contraception such as the pill.

Or, there's the foolproof way of having a vastectimy(sp?), and for girls having their tubes tied. No pregancy 100%. But still chance of STD's

Oh yeah also abortion is sometimes neccesary because of a health complication to the mother.

Abortion should only be allowed in the following cases:

1) Rape
2) If having the baby would seriously harm the mother.

Otherwise, the overpopulation problem can be assisted by reliable universal sex education.

besides, humans have 3 things encoded into their brain: food, superiority, and reproduction.

I agree with Moril on abortion in cases of rape and danger to the mother, but I also think it should be allowed if the parent(s) would suffer emotionally from the birth of a child, and I think outlawing it in the third trimester is a good idea. I also think that quality of life should play an important role in the decision to have an abortion. If one is living in a poor place with no orphanage or alternate care available for the child and said parent(s) be able to care for him/her, or if one is living with someone whom one *knows* will injure and/or abuse said baby and one also knows that giving that baby to an adoption agency is not an option, I don't think the mother should carry the baby to term.

just readin old stuff here , and back on page two of this topic, i thought anti psm made some good points. but the second long rant i just don't agree w/ . my policy, please thyself, or in this case another person, and solve any resulting problems as quickly and easily as posible. plus in the first and 2nd trimesters, the "human" is only biologial molecules. is anything that contians human dna human? if so, if i injected human dna into a cow, then killed it, is that as bad as abortion? i think worse because cows are smarter than a fetus. in fact, after reading some of the opinions on this topic, some are smarter than born and aged humans.
